International Seminar on Indian Lives of Arabic Manuscripts

The International Seminar on Indian Lives of Arabic Manuscripts was conducted with the objective of presenting to Doha University the rich heritage preserved in the Kuthub Khana of Islahul Uloom Arabic College. The session highlighted the historical value of the manuscripts and rare books housed in the collection, along with ongoing efforts to preserve, digitize, and protect these invaluable materials for future research. The program served as a platform to introduce the legacy of Indian scholarly contributions to Arabic literature and manuscript culture.

The seminar witnessed the participation of professors and scholars from Doha University, who engaged actively with the presentations and research discussions. Notable contributions were made by Abdussamad Faizy, Dr. Ali Akbar Hudawi, and Dr. Muhammed Shihabudheen Hudawi, each of whom presented key insights into the manuscript tradition, its academic relevance, and preservation methodologies. Their presentations enriched the seminar and facilitated meaningful dialogue between the institutions involved.
